Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama is a leading apparel manufacturer with a global presence. We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team and help drive the company’s financial performance with strategic insights and sound financial management.
Responsibilities
?Prepare, analyze, and present monthly management accounts and reports
?Monitor and control budgets, forecast cash flow, and ensure effective cost management
?Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes and business strategies
?Perform variance analysis and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
?Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations
?Prepare and maintain detailed records of costing and inventory management
?Analyze key financial metrics and recommend actions for improving financial efficiency
?Collaborate with other departments to understand and improve financial performance
?Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for senior management
Requirements
?A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, Degree in accounting or equivalent)
?Minimum of 3 years of experience in management accounting, preferably in the apparel manufacturing industry
?Strong understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
?Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills
?Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
?Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
?Strong attention to detail and accuracy
