Q/A Executive - Sample Development

Are you passionate about perfecting apparel designs and samples? Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama is an Australian owned leading apparel manufacturer with a strong global presence. Due to our rapid expansion, we’re on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Assurance Executive to join our Sample Development Team!
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
* Conduct detailed inspections and assessments of apparel samples.
* Identify and resolve quality issues to refine sample development procedures.
* Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
* Involvement in product development and sampling stage and take care of quality aspects of samples.
* Reviewing teckpacks and specifications to compare produced goods
* Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes and inputting data into quality database
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar position
* Bachelor’s degree/diploma in a relevant field is preferable
* Proven experience in quality assurance, specifically development within the apparel industry.
* Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
* Sound knowledge in knitwear is an added advantage
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Documentation and reporting skills
* Ability to collaborate in a team work culture is a must
