Work Study Executive
Are you an energetic Executive with a strong desire to learn new processes and drive production efficiency ?
Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking an experienced Work Study Executive to join our team. Our apparel manufacturing facility is located at Biyagama EPZ. The Work Study Executive will be responsible for improving efficiency through process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement systems and processes for the efficient production of apparel, including workflow analysis, time and motion studies, and the implementation of lean manufacturing principles
- Prepare and check operational bulletins
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, operations, and quality, to identify and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns, and use this information to make recommendations for process improvements
- Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of current systems and processes, and develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Work Study qualification in a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering in the apparel industry
- GSD knowledge added advantage
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends and patterns Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing these in a production environment
