Elegant Knitting international Pvt Ltd at Biyagama is a leading apparel manufacturer with a global presence. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Pattern maker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our development strategies to ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. We are looking for an experienced Senior Pattern Maker who can follow customer requirements from development to bulk.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop precise patterns from design sketches or specifications
- Ensure proper fit, proportions, and garment structure by creating prototypes or samples
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to refine patterns for efficiency and accuracy
- Utilize both manual drafting techniques and computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Make necessary adjustments to patterns based on fittings or feedback
- Maintain and organize pattern archives for future reference
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree/diplomain a related field
- Strong Englishcommunication and interpersonal skills
- 5 years proven experience as a Garment Pattern Maker
- Experience with Sportswear is an added advantage
- Proficiency in pattern-making softwaree. TUKA TEK
- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and fit
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Team player with strong communication skills
