Human Resource Senior Executive

Elegant Knitting is an Australian owned and rapidly growing apparel factory located in Biyagama EPZ and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resource Executive to join our team. As a Human Resource Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the HR function for our organization. This will include managing the recruitment and selection process, overseeing performance management and employee development, and promoting a positive and inclusive work culture. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and managing employee relations and engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities

- Focus on recruitment, retention and employee engagement programmes

- Involve with the day-to-day management of all HR functions and duties including social and safety compliance activities

- Handle personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances and performance evaluations

- Liaise with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations

- Assist in payroll preparation

- Communicate with the labour department when necessary
Requirements
-
- At least 3 years of proven experience as an HR Executive or Officer

- Garment factory working experience

- Strong communication skills

- Tertiary HR qualifications

- Knowledge of labour laws

- Knowledge of social compliance requirements
